Structural Systems are pleased to announce that they are part of the Wellington Dam Alliance, which is the successful contractor for the upgrade of the Wellington Dam which is located approximately 160km South West of Perth in Western Australia.
The State Government has awarded a $40million alliance contract to bring the 70-year-old Wellington Dam into line with today's engineering standards.
The successful contractor, known as the Wellington Dam Alliance, combines the expertise of Leighton Contractors, AECOM, Hydro Tasmania and Structural Systems Limited working with the Water Corporation.
Mark Sinclair from Structural Systems reports, "Structural Systems are a key member of the Alliance and our primary focus will involve the specialist anchoring works where 45 anchors will be installed to improve the dam's stability.
